Commerson's dolphins appear to be opportunistic feeders and have a very
varied diet. They feed on both pelagic and benthic species like various
fish species, squid, octopus, large and small crustaceans (lobsters,
krill, etc.) and sponges. Even some species of macro algae are included
in the diet of this dolphin species (to ease their digestion).
